    Founded in 2005 and based in Aliso Viejo, California, Infinium Spirits is a family-owned spirits company that specializes in the import, sales, and marketing of its distinctive portfolio of brands. 

     

    Reporting directly to the President, Infinium Spirits, the VP, Marketing will be challenged to further drive the marketing presence of Infinium Spirits business.  The ideal candidate in this role will assume the overall responsibility for developing and executing tactical marketing strategies to increase revenue and grow our brands.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and execute the marketing and promotional programs for Infinium Spirits brands to grow distribution, volume, revenue, and market share.
    • Develop results driven programming with distributors to ensure the delivery of qualitative objectives and budget goals.
    • Set, track, and monitor goals for Distributors based on brand/market priorities.
    • Partner with the sales team and conduct monthly planning sessions and quarterly business reviews with distributor senior management.
    • Lead the training of distributor sales teams with the ultimate goal of ensuring sales teams understands the in-store objectives for our brands. 
    • Regularly participate in distributor market visits to ensure market execution is at or above standard.
    • Lead the identification of growth strategies and the translation of those strategies into actionable marketing and commercial plans (annual & long-term).
    • Use sales systems to develop and track key performance indicators (KPI’s) to measure our progress and identify opportunities for growth.  Set campaign performance standards, execute, and track progress against expectations.
    • Prepare, analyze, and review a monthly depletions forecast and update Infinium leadership with the variances. 
    • Review shipments monthly with distributor partners to ensure sales targets are achieved.
    • Develop and execute price structures for our brands to ensure profit maximization.
    • Ensure Infinium Spirits portfolio of brands has a preferred supplier status with distributor partners in each of their markets. 
    • Provide clear direction to distributors to achieve our committed brand priorities. 
    • Oversee the POS, feature, and display activities to ensure flawless execution and maximum effectiveness.
    • Support PR efforts assist with drafting press releases and supporting external PR agency with materials needed to pitch and win press. 
    • Work closely with the Brand Managers to ensure annual market plan is established and executed.
    • Monitor resource allocation and ensure resources adequately support brand and market/channel opportunities.
    • Chart and execute a calendar of events to support sales efforts.
    • Lead the creation of marketing and promotional collateral to support sales.
    • Conduct customer segmentation and define the marketing strategy for Infinium Spirits by segment, truly understanding our distributor partners and brands. 
    • Partner with sales and operations leadership to build and deliver effective sales presentations to brand representatives and other key decision makers. 
    • Identify intersections between consumer white space and brand opportunities to develop innovation pipeline to accelerate growth.
    • Develop long term vision and supporting business strategies/solutions for Infinium Spirits to enable accelerated revenue, value share, and profit growth.
    • Steward the interest of the company and system by insuring brands and plans are economically profitable and strategically sound.
    • Work with agency partners to create content, media plan digital & social strategy, shopper tools/marketing, field marketing strategy and execution and influencer engagement.
    • Identify, hire, train, coach, and develop top marketing talent to enable team to achieve work objectives, improve their capabilities and strength of the team.
    • Meet with partners to share innovation, brand strategies and plans, and to solicit customer and shopper feedback to incorporate into future plans.
    • Develop and execute “go to market” strategies and region/customer plans in order to maximize growth and channel penetration.
    • Develop and maintain partnerships with internal senior management stakeholders in order to drive alignment and influence decision-making.
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related major.
    • 10+ years of experience with progressively increasing responsibility in product or portfolio management within the beverage alcohol industry.
    • Knowledge of sales techniques and distributor network.
    • Prior experience with brand and strategy development.
    • Strong analytical and data management skills.
    • Project management skills with the ability to influence initiatives with thought leadership beyond the scope of the project.
    • Ability to navigate the organization and work effectively in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
    • Valid state driver’s license
    • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
    • Certified Spirits Specialist (CSS) certification preferred.

    WORKING CONDITIONS: 

    • Frequent travel.
    • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
    • You will work with and around alcoholic beverages and where alcoholic beverages are served and consumed.
